CFAA Registered Fire Alarm Technician

Responsibilities:

Assist in the installation, testing, and servicing of fire alarms and related life safety equipment, including monthly, bi-monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual inspections, repairs, and verifications. Participate in a rotational after-hours and weekend on-call schedule. Willing to train less experienced technicians. 

Qualifications:

Minimum of five years industry experience and valid CFAA
Working knowledge of various fire alarm systems and other life safety equipment (i.e. sprinkler systems, emergency lighting, kitchen systems, fire extinguishers and fire hoses.
Excellent troubleshooting skills
Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in the completion of reports and work orders
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent customer service skills
Positive attitude, dependable with a strong work ethic
Valid Drivers License with a clean driver's abstract
Ability to obtain minimum "reliability status" security clearance
Clean criminal record
Organized
