Responsibilities:<\/span><\/span><\/strong>\n\nAssist in the installation, testing, and servicing of fire alarms and related life safety equipment, including monthly, bi-monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual inspections, repairs, and verifications. Participate in a rotational after-hours and weekend on-call schedule. Willing to train less experienced technicians. <\/span><\/span>\n\nQualifications<\/strong>:<\/span><\/span>\n\nMinimum of five years industry experience and valid CFAA<\/span><\/span>\nWorking knowledge of various fire alarm systems and other life safety equipment (i.e. sprinkler systems, emergency lighting, kitchen systems, fire extinguishers and fire hoses.<\/span><\/span>\nExcellent troubleshooting skills<\/span><\/span>\nMeticulous attention to detail and accuracy in the completion of reports and work orders<\/span><\/span>\nStrong written and verbal communication skills<\/span><\/span>\nExcellent customer service skills<\/span><\/span>\nPositive attitude, dependable with a strong work ethic<\/span><\/span>\nValid Drivers License with a clean driver's abstract<\/span><\/span>\nAbility to obtain minimum \"reliability status\" security clearance<\/span><\/span>\nClean criminal record<\/span><\/span>\nOrganized\n<\/span><\/span>\nWhat we offer:<\/span><\/span><\/strong>\n\nHighly competitive hourly wage based on experience\/performance<\/span><\/span>\nAfter hours and weekend on-call bonus<\/span><\/span>\nComprehensive Group Benefits Plan<\/span><\/span>\nCompany uniforms provided<\/span><\/span>\nSpecialized equipment provided<\/span><\/span>\nCompany cellular phone and laptop provided<\/span><\/span>\nCompany vehicle and fuel card provided<\/span><\/span>\nFair and equitable work environment<\/span><\/span>\nIf you are interested in the prospect of joining our team, please forward your resume and cover letter by email to service@totalfire.ca<\/span><\/span><\/pre>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
